RESEARCH & SCIENCE
The core technology behind tensoraX is Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES), a method of muscle activation that has been studied extensively in academic and clinical research for over 40 years.
What the Research Shows
Published studies have demonstrated that NMES can effectively activate deep stabilizing muscles that are often underactive due to prolonged sitting, poor posture, aging, injury, or chronic tension. These are the muscles the body depends on for structural support, spinal stability, and pain-free movement.
Key findings from peer-reviewed research include:
• NMES can activate deep core and spinal stabilizing muscles that voluntary exercise often fails to engage
• Consistent NMES use has been associated with improved muscle strength, endurance, and neuromuscular function
• NMES has been used in clinical rehabilitation settings for post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and mobility restoration
• Studies have shown NMES to be a safe and effective method of muscle activation when used as directed

How tensoraX Applies the Science
The tensoraX Adaptive Correction System™ takes established NMES principles and engineers them into a portable, at-home device that anyone can use. Our dual-action pulse technology works on two levels simultaneously: surface-level muscle release and deep stabilizing muscle activation.
With 6 corrective programs and 16 intensity levels, tensoraX allows users to personalize their experience based on their unique tension patterns, target areas, and comfort level. The system is designed to be used for 15 minutes daily, building cumulative results over time.
Clinical Standards
• FDA Cleared as a Class II medical device
• CE Certified for international safety compliance
• Built to meet international quality and manufacturing standards
• Designed and tested by a team with backgrounds in biomedical engineering, physiotherapy, and sports science
Our Commitment to Science
We do not make claims we cannot back up. tensoraX is not a cure-all and we will never market it as one. What we will say is that the science behind NMES is real, the technology is proven, and we have engineered tensoraX to deliver it in the most effective, accessible way possible. We are committed to ongoing research, product improvement, and transparency with our customers.
USAGE GUIDELINES
To get the most out of your tensoraX Adaptive Correction System™ and ensure safe, effective use, please follow these guidelines carefully.
Getting Started
• Charge your tensoraX system fully before first use using the included charging case
• Clean and dry the skin where you plan to place the gel pads
• Attach the gel pads to the host units and place them on your target area
• Start with the lowest intensity setting and gradually increase to a comfortable level
• Begin with Program 1 for your first few sessions before exploring other corrective programs
Recommended Use
• Use tensoraX for one 15-minute session per day for optimal results
• Consistency is key. Daily use over 30 days is recommended to build cumulative results
• You may use tensoraX on different areas of the body on the same day, but allow at least 2 hours between sessions on the same muscle group
• Drink water before and after each session to support muscle recovery
• Use the included 90-Day Recovery Plan as your guide for progressive improvement
Placement Guide
Lower Back: Place pads on either side of the spine, approximately 2 to 3 inches apart, centered on the area of tension.
Neck: Place pads on the muscles running along either side of the spine at the base of the skull. Do not place directly on the spine or throat.
Shoulders: Place pads on the upper trapezius muscles where tension commonly accumulates.
Hips: Place pads on the gluteus medius or along the hip flexor region depending on where tension is felt.
Safety Precautions
Do NOT use tensoraX if you:
• Have a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or any other implanted electronic device
• Have epilepsy or a seizure disorder
• Are pregnant or suspect you may be pregnant
• Have active cancer in the treatment area
• Have open wounds, rashes, or skin infections in the area of use
Additional safety guidelines:
• Do not use while driving, operating machinery, or in water
• Do not place pads on the front of the throat, across the chest, or over the heart
• Do not use on children under 18 without physician approval
• Do not use while sleeping
• Discontinue use immediately if you experience unusual pain, skin irritation, or dizziness and consult your physician
• Always consult your doctor before use if you have any pre-existing medical condition
Gel Pad Care
• After each session, carefully remove the gel pads and place them back on the protective film
• Store gel pads in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
• If gel pads lose adhesion, lightly dampen the surface with water to temporarily restore stickiness
• Replace gel pads every 20 to 30 uses or when adhesion noticeably decreases
• Never share gel pads between users for hygiene reasons
Device Care
• Wipe the host units with a soft, dry cloth after each use
• Do not submerge any component in water
• Store all components in the premium charging case when not in use
• Charge the device fully before extended storage
• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods
